Miniature Schnauzers
    are known to be 12- 14 in"  tall and to come in colors of Salt & Pepper ,Black/Silver
    and, Black. But for those of you that like things a little different you will be delighted to
    know that it's not the only choice that you have. White , Chocolate, (called Liver by
    AKC), and Parti colors are now added to your choices. Parti's can be Salt & Pepper,
    Black , and Chocolate. You also have more choices in size. Toy is now used to
    describe the smaller Schnauzers although the registrations is still listed as Miniature.
    To be considered toy, their grown size should be under 10" or below with a matching
    weight.  Even though they are registrable with AKC,  the rare colors and smaller sizes
    are not recognized to show with AKC , although you can show with them with APRI.
